Most of this material is new for me...and it came from realrockhound 's "junk pile"! Thank you my friend! (The Fairburn Agates did NOT come from him! LOL) The slabs these cabs came from can be seen here: forum.rocktumblinghobby.com/thread/103832/As always, thanks for taking a gander! Unknown Thunderegg Cabochon - The first one came from the end cut...so it's wicked thin...basically a flat top! Lucin Variscite Cabochon - This material is super soft. I shaped it on the 280 soft wheel...with really light pressure! Carey Ranch Plume Agate Cabochon - The slab split in two, leaving me the white side and the red side. Holy super polish on this material! Royal Eye Cabenite Cabochon - This did pit out in a couple places...which is why I did the funky shape. Hampton Butte Petrified Wood Cabochon - There are some pits in these...but I think the overall pieces were worth finishing. Tagging Mel on these. Vistaite Cabochon- tagging rockjunquie and hummingbirdstones on this one! Galaxy Rhyolite Cabochon (I believe...but not 100% convinced) - The "fractures" are all subsurface. Ochoco Tube Agate Cabochon Unknown...but wish I knew!! Hampton Butte Petrified Wood Limb Cast Cabochon - The Agate in this is SO clear, I had to show a couple shots of that second one! Blackskin Agate Cabochon - No, it's not Zebra Stone! LOL Fairburn Agate Cabochon - This one was given to me by a friend! Fairburn Agate Cabochon - I found this one. I couldn't believe how much it reminded me of Crazy Lace Agate! Fairburn Agate Cabochon - HOLY CRAP THIS ONE IS COOL!! I think this looks like a cross between Ocean Jasper and some kind of Poppy Jasper! The orbs are wicked cool! Tagging miket on this one.

OK well, there is no way I will play favorites! These are all outstanding... but that vistaite is gorgeous! And, the moss, the carey, variscite and limb cast to not name a few.

You have been busy again. The first Fairburn is pretty darn awesome as are the Hampton Butte Petrified Woods. All are great! Thank you Chris! I actually had these done...and the pictures taken two days ago...but I was too pooped to post them! LOL Digging those. Love the pattern in the variscite. All of them really. And of course the Hampton and Carey Thank you my friend! I was hoping that pattern wasn't going to escape that Variscite when I was doming it! OK well, there is no way I will play favorites! These are all outstanding... but that vistaite is gorgeous! And, the moss, the carey, variscite and limb cast to not name a few. Thank you Tela! It was really fun working this stuff!

Man those are awesome! That Hampton Butte is something else! (I've been on a major moss agate kick lately and it reminds me of that)

Holy sh*t! It is impossible to pick an absolute favorite out of all of these. They are all gorgeous! Here are my top picks in no particular order (and they're subject to change ): Of course the Vistaite, the Variscite (wicked cool pattern), and that last Fairburn (OMG, that is amazing!).

Incredible cabs jasoninsd. Your sharp tipped cabs are amazing. I always have a hard time with sharp points on cabs. I can’t pick a favorite but it would be between the tube agate and the last Fairburn. Your eye for capturing the best pattern is unmatched. Seeing this set of cabs really made my day.

They are so beautiful. If I would vote for a favorite, it would be "Hampton Butte Petrified Wood Limb Cast Cabochon", because the green mosses are so vivid and intriguing in the agate.
Also very impressed with how shiny that very soft Lucin Variscite Cabochon turns out.

I agree with everyone here, amazing cabs! That mossy limb cast really stands out for me too. Love the Carey Ranch too but all are really nice!

#1 may be from the Richardson Ranch. I honestly think it might be desolation canyon or wildcat material

Here are my top picks in no particular order (and they're subject to change ): Of course the Vistaite, the Variscite (wicked cool pattern), and that last Fairburn (OMG, that is amazing!). Awww...thanks my friend! I think that Variscite had measles! LOL - I lost the other Variscite cab I was doing...to a rookie mistake! The white area is harder than the speckled green area. I got too heavy handed trying to get the white area down, and totally jacked the dome! Oops! Another one bites the dust! LOL Those are awesome. Killer shine, beautiful patterns and colors, plus the shapes are cool too. Thank you Diane! I'm working on some Brunea right now. One of the shapes I'm doing is one of the most intricate shapes I've worked...just because it has a couple inside-to-inside curves going on. Definitely fun to work! Beautiful work as always, my friend! Of course the Fairburn is awesome, can't wait to see it wrapped... Thanks my friend! I'd like to wrap it in silver...but the color of that Fairburn almost calls for a copper patina! I've never seen a Fairburn with so many "poppy-like" orbs in it! Fantastic. I really like the pics with individual headings!!! Thank you so much! It's super good to see you posting!! Looking at these again. Pretty nice. Pretty pretty nice. Pffff....they're ok... LOL Incredible cabs jasoninsd . Your sharp tipped cabs are amazing. I always have a hard time with sharp points on cabs. I can’t pick a favorite but it would be between the tube agate and the last Fairburn. Your eye for capturing the best pattern is unmatched. Seeing this set of cabs really made my day. Thank you my friend! I have to make sure I'm not "zoning out" when I'm doing the sharp-tipped cabs. If I do, I end up dipping the girdle at the point. I was pretty careful on all these though! LOL Your words made me smile...and made my day! Thank you PS! That "fishing lure" shaped HBTWLC is probably one of my favorites I've done lately. It's definitely a special one! I wasn't sure what to expect on that Lucin Variscite as it's the first time I've worked it like that. I too was impressed with the shine! LOL I agree with everyone here, amazing cabs! That mossy limb cast really stands out for me too. Love the Carey Ranch too but all are really nice! Thank you my friend! Now...if I could only get the wire-wrapping bug to bite me again, I'd be set! LOL #1 may be from the Richardson Ranch. Thanks Victor! I have no clue on that one! #1 may be from the Richardson Ranch. I honestly think it might be desolation canyon or wildcat material Hmmmm...might have to Google those! I think the hampton Rules this batch Thanks Paul!! Yeah...that one seems to be winning the poll!! LOL

That Hampton Butte is a stunner, but my fav is the Fairburn agate with the orbs. Holy moly, wicked cool is the perfect way to describe it!
Beautiful work, Jason! Your cabs never disappoint.
