I second gemfeller's suggestiom of Hxtal for that job. It does take more time, but the end result is worth the wait.

Unfortunately Hxtal is not readily available in Canada and cross border shipping from American suppliers is prohibited. In place of Hxtal people use Opticon which I find to be quite ineffective. I will try with thin CA glue. On my next visit to the lower 48 I will get some Hxtal for future projects.
