One last heart wrap for the season !
Almost round filed it 3 times & then finally got it to come together.
The back is a little busy - but it needed some structure to tie it in & keep it all together,
and I was having fun with my corrugater one afternoon
Thanks for looking,
Patty

WOW! The front is absolutely elegant, Patty, but there's a lovely surprise behind it.

Nice one! I always struggle a bit with wrapping hearts and not concealing the shape. That wrap works beautifully with the shape of the heart and accents it nicely.

Patty, this is, hands down, your best heart yet! Your weaving is just so perfect!!! I love the open cleft, too. I don't think the back is too busy. I love it.

Thanks, Gary and Gary opalpyrexia , rockbrain , Patty, this is, hands down, your best heart yet! Your weaving is just so perfect!!! I love the open cleft, too. I don't think the back is too busy. I love it. Ah Sucks, Tela, Thank you I finally tortured it into shape, and you can't even tell !
But I'm glad heart season is over, I'm kind of tired of working on hearts !

Great wrap! I thought heart season was all year long.

I agree with Tela (I think). I'm not remembering one that I liked better, but this is absolute perfection! I'm enjoying that it's granite turned elegant, and you've completely nailed the wrap. PS: I like the back, it made me smile.

That's a beauty, Patty liveoak! I like the back, too. It's fun and unexpected.

Very nice work Patty! I actually like the back. Very different little wavy circle design but also functional. 👍

Thanks, Chris - how right you are !
Having just done 3 heart wraps in a row, I guess I was just looking for a good excuse to take a break.
susand24224 , hummingbirdstones , kharaThank you all, I get overly critical about the back sometimes, BUT I guess someone else liked it as well, as I sold it within hours of offering it for sale. A GOOD day !

Stunning piece! I love the heart shape in that wrap - hugs it tight. Very pretty.

I just wanted to say thanks for the inspiration on this one, liveoak. I'm quick to discard the stuff I find locally here in rock poor WNY, but I wanted to stick with something local for a friend I met in the area. Even granite can be beautiful, and I too made a pink heart from some. Thank you for the reminder (and the nice execution!)

Of course, I echo the fact that without pictures, it didn't happen.

Patty, don't look now, but you are officially inspiring. Good on you. It's a beautiful piece. It would inspire me, too, if I could do all that weaving.
