Iām going to guess that one was the single. Very nice.š Will you be cutting the potential double soon? And, what kind of saw are you running?

Was able to get this beauty cut open. Surprise! I don't think this is a thunderegg and def not a geode - agate nodule then? It seems to have pretty blueish banding around the outer with the nice crystally middle. Am going to make a slab to see if color stands out better. Is that the single or the double? That's the double. Doesn't look much like what I was expecting...but still pretty. Need to do a true slab to try and see what colors look like with light.

No, that was the double - the initial rock I shared asking about how to cut. Was a bit of a surprise - I didn't take a picture of the single - but should share it. I'ts somewhat underwhelming, but is a geode. Still quite pretty. I have a Lortone 14" drop saw. I did finally find a blade from Kingsley North (asked 2 questions, got them answered and had tracking all in under 4 hours, unlike Cutting Edge - they shipped the blade eventually, but I've never heard a peep from them, even still).
