I need -NEED! a vibratory tumbler FOR ROCKS 🪨 💎 I’ve been searching all the reputable rock shops (as well as Google, Amazon, eBay) multiple times a week and on several waitlists. So how is your search for the Unicorn going? Have you found your vibe tumbler yet? Curious.... Mark

No such luck my friend :/ Thought any further about the raytech 5? It really is a good first time vibe tumbler. Even though I have a lot-o now, I still like to use the raytech quite often. They are available on amazon for $155 (double barrel), if you have access to it. Get the one with two barrels. That way you can use one for SiC, silicon carbide, and the other for AO aluminum oxide. I’ve had mine for a year now, and it’s been an excellent first vibe. I have done some beautiful rocks with it, some of them surprisingly large. I’ve gotten rocks nearly the size of my fist polished. If you do decide to get one, also get 4 to 5 pounds of ceramics because you’ll need them over time. I have found I get the best results when I have it loaded with media. I use ceramics and small aquarium agate. If you have any other questions, feel free to ask!

I’ll just keep keeping on and play with the toys I have. It’ll work out eventually. I don’t even have enough for a load of final polish yet so I have time.

No such luck my friend :/ Which one are you looking for? I'm curious if you called Minnesota Lapidary Supply?

Johnson Brothers has Mini Sonics in stock (I think). I know some members have had issues with JB, but I ordered a Mini Sonic a couple months back and had it in my hands within a few days and it was cheaper than everyone else. That was before the price increase. I think they're about the same as others or a little cheaper now, but I'd check there if you're looking for something in stock.

I noticed they sell a vibratory called 'Gy-Roc' too. It's something that I've never seen anywhere else. Wondering if anyone else has had any experience with them

I need -NEED! a vibratory tumbler FOR ROCKS 🪨 💎 I’ve been searching all the reputable rock shops (as well as Google, Amazon, eBay) multiple times a week and on several waitlists. So please pm if anyone happens to see one in stock somewhere, or what supply shop you use so I can have more places to check. I’d really appreciate it 🫶 BTW, why is supply so far behind demand? Seems like there’s room in the market for competition *wink wink* *hint hint* *nudge nudge* Good day to all . I use this machine for stone processing. www.grobetusa.com/tumbler-6-qt-flo-thru-vib-item-no-47-787/ He has proven himself well over 10 years of work. The only thing I changed in it was the hole in the bowl (for draining water). I cut off the plastic thread from the inside of the bowl and filled the hole with silicone. I left the fitting on the outside as is. There are no holes in bowls for processing stones. But the principle and parameters of the machine are the same.
