These look so cool! I am wondering if gingerbread man or holiday cookie will be doable... Funny you mention that. I just cut a ginerbread man from a brown jasper slab. I think it will be good if I can get some small white stones.

Thanks. They all look amazing. The turtles are especially cute. Thanks. Everyone likes the turtles. Not really Christmas but I make them at the same time. These look so cool! I am wondering if gingerbread man or holiday cookie will be doable... Just don’t take a bite. Those are all so cool. Thanks. I was thinking about the cookies too. Keep away from kids. Love the new turtles, Chris !
I tried your idea with my 3 lb rotary in an attempt to make some. I did 4 days with 120/220, and it seemed to work out pretty good.
Although, I did round over the top edge with a diamond bur to hopefully give them a head start in the right direction.
They are in polish now, so hopefully in a couple of weeks I'll have something to show.
Thanks for the inspiration ! Patty
You are welcome. I can't wait to see pics of your work.

Elizabeth has made the Christmas ornaments since we started doing bazaars years ago, the bells look like you found the same stencil. This is timely since I was informed just a few days ago that I needed to get the UV10 vibe laps up and running, and help pick out some slabs.

pebblesky , here are front and back pictures of a ginerbread man I cut out last week. Hasn't been in the tumbler yet. The brown "jasper" I find around here will work well for this and I will probably try it for a cookie also. I have been looking for something to do with the brown jasper and I think these two ideas will be great (brown angles and stars just don't get me excited ).

If you are to tumble it, you would need really small fillers to go into all these deep curves right?

Oh, I have some really tiny Gobi Eye Agates, white surface with black/golden dots. They could be a fun addition to some of your ornaments. Since you mentioned small stones, I have some ideas. Let me find out where I hoarded them after work...

If you are to tumble it, you would need really small fillers to go into all these deep curves right? That is an issue with most of the ornaments. The deep curves sometimes don't get polished. Most of the time I don't worry about it as you typically look straight on. I have at times used small diamond drill bits to smooth and polish the tight spots. front and back pictures of a gingerbread man I cut out last week. Where's his house ?

That might be getting a little too complicated. However, I did do that nativity scene once and can't get much more complicated than that.

I love the gingerbreadman! I can't wait to see him finished. How about some ugly christmas sweaters?? I'll put some bloodstone in your pile. Remember that green aventurine? would something like that work?

Remember that green aventurine? would something like that work? Aventurine is very versatile. Are you thinking using that for the sweater? I'll have to think about how to do that.

I'm just thinking of what to put in your pile - so whatever you could use it for. I've been putting aside some for you, I haven't forgotten! Right now the pile is in a bag labeled 'Chris's maybes" lol
