It might be jade!
I could not tell if it was cooler than other rocks, but my kitchen sink specific gravity test puts it right at 3.3 SG. which is correct for jadeite. Jasper and chert are around 2.5 -2.9 according to google.
I need to make a more repeatable specific gravity measuring set up and test some other rocks to see if I am doing it right, but I am pretty excited! Happy father's day to me!

I thought it was probably jade.

Cancel that! I don't think it is jade after all. Specific Gravity is actually closer to 2.64 which would make it some green jasper. Still very pretty! It was nice to have found some jade for a little bit. I notice the similar one on eBay is gone. I hope they didn't sell jasper by mistake!
