I know these pics aren't great. I had a hell of a time trying to line it all up. I like the first one because, on the left, you can see the sparkle lights from the laser cut wire. Very pretty. This piece is articulated. The faceted 4mm malachite beads move on the pendant and the bail moves on the beads. Tagging rockbrain and liveoak . Go ahead and ask questions.  Patty, you might recognize the beads. The back looks like the front. Standard border wrap. My next one will be better.

It's lovely. The stone itself is gorgeous, and I love the accent of the beads. Another beautiful piece. Old age? Knock that dust off - Get it Granny! |

The real question is- how'd you do that bail ?
You are right, you can't see how it's done, not even a hint.
But a video would be nice to see how it moves .
I can't remember why I should know the beads, but I'm feeling a little slow on the uptake lately.
But no matter where the beads are from, they are a perfect accent to the stone, and the sparkle wire with the faceted beads compliment nicely.
Another beauty - thanks for sharing it.

Thank you, Patty. I feel really good today. I needed a win. I really like the piece, too. Think I'll wear it next time out.
I'll try and get a video up at some point, but for those of you who don't know, I have pretty bad psoriasis on my hands and it's not too pretty for videos. Maybe DH will model for me tonight. He just left for work.

yes, Yes, YES! My eyes are drawn to questions about the bail as well--do the wires just go straight up to allow the beads to encircle? And I also *love* the lack of decorative elements in the stone (other than the twisting)--it is just too pretty. The way you've set it up draws the eye perfectly from top to bottom with a very sleek result.

Nice ones ! I like the onyx on the right, with its tall bail, and the one-sided, extra border wraps. How in the world did you get those wraps to be two-tone & match the stone so perfectly, is a mystery to me.  And the OJ is graceful, in it's understated simplicity.
