Unreal stone. Looks to me like some kind of brecciated jasper. Good buy.

Pretty cool stuff. Reminds me of the art of Roger Dean... Yeah I like those gold stringers in the last slab photo!
Hope you post more pix of that stuff finished, Sands. S

That's a great looking new material Sands. How hard is it? Does it mirror polish like Owyhee Jasper or is it more like the Australian Printstone which is kind of a problem child when it comes to a polish?....mel

Oh, Sands that stuff rocks. Is it pumpkin colored or a little more on the red side? That's just some wicked patterning in there. Thanks for those picts, I could look at that stuff all day.

he listed it as a new find from austrailia id say its about a 5 moh's on the redish side and it needs the 14000 and 50000 diamond to complete it something else might work but i tried alittle tin ox and it helped alittle but the diamond did it better --- those two cabs where done in like 20 mins just to see what i could expect from it grinding and polishing so they where just throw together haha,, ---- ill try another one and take my time and see what i get

Yes, I agree with everyone. That is a Fantastic Looking stone. I think I'd call it Devil Jasper, or Hell Rock. Barbed wire and flames...just as I picture hell. Keep posting those cabs Sands. Nice Job. Steve

yea i got it from rockman69 i had a credit for that great lookin piece of cryscolla i got from him that was all fractured --and just my luck im startin to lose half a slab the further i go in to this rock i just cant win but i have learned my lesson im not buyin anymore expensive rocks off ebay i lost 20 some bucks shipping back the last one and now half of this one is useless ---if im spendin big money i wanna see it in person from now on --- im real unhappy with his rock latly i know you cant see in a rock but when you are gettin big amounts im sure he asks if they use tnt to blast it out cause that means all fractured and no use for cabbin im gonna try some opticon on a slab see if it helps but i cant see it fixin all these hahaha hey but i never used the stuff befor maybe ill get a surprize

Hey John, you got half your money back in those two cabs you cut from that big old rock. Cut two more cabs, and call it even!
