Boy KD it really pays to do a long grind and a long polish I guess. The shape and shine on those stones are excellent....mel

I love that black and gold palm wood. It's my favorite stuff to tumble, bar none! I really want to see some cabbed...maybe when Sands makes it out here. Mine is still grinding away.
Yes, our NM rock is dang hard but gorgeous if you have the patience to do it right....AWESOME BATCH, KD!

Wow, I had to scroll back to the top to see who posted this batch. I thought I'd see either James or Rollingstone, but no... nice job KD. How's your shoulder? Ready to get back to the grinder?

Definitely a blue-ribbon batch! You did an awesome job, and Susan gave you some fantastic stone to work with. I'm kind of depressed about the 3-4 weeks in CPP though -- that's the same polish I use, and up until now I'd managed to convince myself that there is no benefit going past two weeks. I don't think I could ever have 4 weeks of patience. ;D

Wow, yah... I think everybody pretty much said it already. Thanks for posting 'em. Goes to show ya how leaving them in for the full course with no shortcuts can really pay off with top notch results.
