Finally got the new GP6 uncrated, set up and running! Oh man, she runs so smooth. Night and day compared to my old Highland Park unit. Of course I have to show her off ;D And after the inaugural test drive Thanks for looking

Nice Beef!!! What is the set up? grit wheels, etc.. I know a guy wanting to build a similar unit and that info would be helpful! He has room for 4 wheels! I can't wait to see all you produce in the next few months!!!! john

It's very, very pretty even if it is awfully clean. Newbie question: Who makes that model? Newbies need to know. Lady B

Thanks Joe and Lady B! Kate it's manufactured by Barranca Diamond. With shipping I paid $880.. a good chunk 'a change but really a steal when you look at comparable models out there.
Have a great day all! ;D

Lookin' good Brian. Where did you purchase it from? I'm getting close to buying one for myself and it sounds like you got a pretty good deal. Dan

Fine looking machine Brian. Good thing you got pics of it in this condition, because it won't look like that for long. Here's a glimpse of it's future.

I tell you what, I'm having too much dang fun with this thing ;D
A couple questions:
How much life should I expect out of the 6" diamond belts?
Has anyone tried the 14k and 50k belts for polishing in lieu of leather and paste? I saw Kingsley has those. Would it be worth it when the paste runs out?
Thanks!!
