Howdy folks, Just a few pics of today's batch minus the tinies I used for filler. Thanks for looking.....Mel A few more Bubblegum agates from South Dakota with a couple of Prairie Agates mixed in: Poppy Jasper, Green Zebra, Breccia, Coyamito, Antelope Jasper, Texas Plume, and the deep blue is Indian Pass Dumortierite which is much prettier than it looks in the pic: Condors, Lakers, Kimmie's Yellow Jasper (nice!) Dryhead, Hauser Beds Nodules, another type of poppy and a couple more Woodward Plume: Closeup of some favs: Condor with an eye, Banded Poppy Jasper and a large tumbled Woodward Ranch Black Plume biscuit:

Nice colorful batch Mel. My favorite is the little Dryhead in the 3rd pic. The outline really stands out. Nice stuff. Steve

The shine is amazing! You also have there some beautiful stuff, my favorites are the pink+red triangle in the 2nd pic and the volcanic islets popping out of the blue sea in the 3rd pic.

Hi Mel, What a beautiful batch of stones! What do you do with your tumbled material? Do you sell it, or make something out of it? I especially like the little red & white fortification agate - I am always partial to anything banded or fortified. Again, beautiful material! Patti

Patti: I save a few of the nicer stones for my own collection but most of my annual yield ( probably 50# or so) goes to my gem club or to some school classes I support. We use the tiny stones for our Sand Sifting game in the kiddie booth, the giant stones for spinning wheel prizes and the rest for the free "Treasure Chest" at the entrance to our show or for the grab bags we sell in the kiddie booth. I have to run five tumblers year round just to keep up with the club but it's real fun!....Mel

Hi again Mel, That is a very good club. I used to live in LA & have spent quite a bit of time there in Ventura. Have you done any collecting on Kanan?
