WOW! Those are just beautiful.... You asked about soft stone here... There is i thought a stone you were able to carve here.. serpentine? I'm not sure, I'll try to find out too. but I'm pretty sure there is a few soft stones, probably not as soft as those but I know there is one they carve on.. But I've never seen anything like the collection you have here.. And I still wish I knew what they meant.. fascinating culture.

Tell us why you are posting!!! Did you carve these? Did someone you know carve these? Do you sell these yourself? Are you a collector?
