I take it nobody told you that any newbie from New Mexico has to send everyone that has over 150 posts to their name a nice piece of agate from down south there. ;D

Welcome nuggy, I see you are from up in 4 corners country... I'm down in ABQ. Hope to meet you soon; maybe when we have our own local NM/AZ/UT/CO rockhound event coming up soon, courtesy of NMRocks. ed

Hello everyone!! I'm new to the list and semi new to rock tumbling so please forgive any dumb questions I may ask. I'm not really sure if theres a correct place to start on this list so I kinda just jumped in here. I just bought (won) a vibratory stone polisher on ebay. Its a Raytec TV10. I've seached my area of S. Jersey and can't find anyplace that has books or supplies on stone tumbling. Any suggestions on the web? Also, we plan on spending the winter in Kino, Mexico and I hope to track down a few rocks there although I'm not even sure what rocks are tumbleable. For now if there anyone that sells rocks on here? Thanks for taking the time to read this. betty
