Here are mine: 1. The Amazing Race & when it was on, The Mole ;D 2. Britney & Kevin, Ashley Simpson Shows 3. Survivor, the Newlyweds Nick & Jessica

I hate (un) reality TV- My favorite show was Dharma and Greg (call me sappy but it was good mindless TV) I also loved What about Raymond (I call my family the Barones)- Oh and MASH well I guess you can see where my taste lies! I just can't get into following that reality stuff- especially since it is too unreal! Of course I have every Star Trek Next Gen on tape so there you go!

Ok Stefan, enough already ... you took all of my favorite shows *smile* hahaha. I'm so totally with you on those (un)reality shows ... wouldn't give them the time of day.
We're losing a lot of really good shows this year like JAG and Raymond. I like what you called it, mindless tv ... just stuff to laugh at and enjoy. My fav show right now is probably Two and a Half Men ... that's hysterical. Charmed, CSI, NCIS, all good stuff with good actors. There's another good comedy too I think it's called Still Standing or something like that. Love TNG too!!

It always amazes me when they come up with a new reality show. I don't really watch much tv but when I do I may have just tuned in at the right time to watch one. I just know there is no way I would ever wanted to be on one of those!!! No thankyou! The one I kind of liked was the one where the gay guys would make over some guy and his house. Thought that was kind of neat! Those guys needed the help! LOL!!!

I'm actually tired of them and have stopped watching them as it's mostly about whining & putting others down & B/$%ing about others. I'm amazed at some of these "famous" people to see how utterly imbeciles they are, and how clueless they are too! I loved the challenge that they had in "the Mole". But there are soooo many stupid reality shows on now, it's ridiculous! I agree with the mindless TV, but it's great in the background when I do beading in front of the TV - don,t even have to watch it!

Well, I'm a news junkie, so I watch the news channels. Also a "do it yourselfer" so I love TLC - Trading Spaces, In A fix - heck, I wouldn't know how to fix a thing if not for the fix it up shows! Also watch alot of HGTV. I REALLY want the Do It Yourself channel but, being the tightwad I am, don't want to pay that extra $4/mo for Total Choice Plus on Direct TV!
The last couple of Tuesday nights I have been watching a couple of shows on the Discovery Channel about crabbing in the Bering Sea. Talk about reality! And dangerous! In fact, I think the show is called "Dangerous Jobs." Anyway, it's really interesting.
I don't watch much network TV. I am mindless enough without watching mindless TV! LOL!
What was/is the most mindless TV show?
My vote - FRIENDS! My gosh those were the stupidest people I ever saw! No wonder they were such great friends, nobody with a brain would want to hang around wiith them!

I saw a show about crabbing but not sure if it was the same one. This was kind of following someone who was doing it for the first time. He ended up being knocked overboard but they managed to save him. It was pretty amazing. I love the discovery channel but most of the time I don't have control of the remote. I get it when he goes to be then I hit court tv or the discovery channel.
My daughter has a cute little sign by her door. For Sale: 32 in color tv, remote and attached husband included.

Sands, yep, I'm back up and running. Found a cheapie computer at the hospice my sis works at - $70.00! Pretty decent computer but only has a 4 G harddrive and I have already almost filled it up! I haven't seen BE lately either. Been thru town a couple of times earlier in the week and planned to stop by, but her truck wasn't home. Need to call her. I saw that show. I had always heard that crabbing or any kind of fishing in the Bering Sea was dangerous, but really had no concept of how dangerous until I started watching that show. Can you imagine getting out there in that awful weather, working your butt off and bring up empty or almost empty crab pots? Talk about the pits! But then if ya' bring up the full one - you're in the money - IF you survive. Those guys are tough, thats for sure. llana PS Haven't forgot about the flint - just didn't find one of the pieces I wanted to send you until Tues or Wed. It was in my flowerbed! Plan on getting it in the mail Monday. PSS Love the sodalite although I haven't made the necklace yet. I thought I had some sodalite beads, but they were blue quartz, so had to order some sodalite beads. I have the beads and the pendant, an idea for a necklace cooking in my head. Now, I just gotta get the necklace made! Waiting for the "mood" to hit!

I think being in the fishing industry and law enforcement have got to be right on the top of the most dangerous jobs. If the weather doesn't sink your boat or you get shot there isn't a whole lot left. Kind of reminds me of a news story on tonights local news. A guy got into it with one of our cops and knocked him down. Then he was armed with a knife and tried to get the cops gun. They were able to cuff and stuff him. Cops win this round. But it did happen awhile ago where 2 cops went on a domestic call and fought with the guy. He was able to get one of their guns and shot both of them to death. I still remember going to those funerals...one right after the other....it still doesn't seem real??? Not a job I would want, but I am very grateful there are people out there who do want to do it for the rest of our sakes...sigh!

Sounds like paradise Sandman. What a cool place to live! Are you going to live in one of those neat victiorian homes? What made you decide to locate there? Just wondering here as my sister and brother in law live in New Jersey also. I have only been there once and it was an interesting trip! It would be nice to wake up to the sea gulls and the smell of the ocean breeze blowing through your window...sigh!

This Past year my favorite has been SUPERNANNY
I have a love/hate relationship but I gotta watch , "Hells Kitchen".
I absolutely feel like screaming back at the TV when I hear the FoxNews extremists Bill O'Reilly (fair and balanced?) and Sean Hannitty(Mean vicious liar)
