Thanks to everyon e for the great messages and support. I am home and besides the pain in good form. will need radiation therapy in a month but have to heal from the cut first.

feel like ive been hit by a train, but doing ok, sore and still some pain, as to be expected.
funny dreams while on painkillers etc, dreaming of rocks, not kidding, had a dream about cabbing some funny stone let me try and describe. was medium hard and looked like leopard jasper only bright blues and greens like azurite
just sticks in the mind, anyhow. doing ok, thanks again to everyone looking out for me, the e-card was cute. thanks guys (and gals)

still a little rough, Hope everyone up north in the south is ok, saw stuff on tv, looks like a warzone, or center state here last year (we still have some blue roofs and tree crews )
bad thing about being stuck on the couch is I have lots of time to think, but no energy to do. HAd this great idea for wire wraps that adjust to diff cabs and such, been working it out with cheap craft wire. anyone know where to get a decent price on medium soft round milled wire in sterling?

Good to know your home and recuperating. Hope everything goes well with the chemo too, it's kind of a pain/hassle but worth the effort. Take care and get strong.

your body has been through a major thing and don't underestimate it! and don't let that pain medicine fool you into thinking you feel ok to do things you know you shouldn't do. when someone calls and asks if they can do something for you LET THEM. and if they didn't mean it, the next time they'll drop a casserole off and say they left the car running lol. you concentrate on healing.

well, got final pathology report on surrounding areas, no spread past the thyroid visible, however there were multiple tumors in the thyroid,, both sides, all malignant. good news is one single radiation treatment with iodine something and it will go easy from there bad news is, takes almost 2 months to heal up and be ready for that. grr just when things were looking up.
ended up at mall and felt weird, needed to pick some stuff up . damn people suck,, LOL at least the old punk and smartass in me is still alive, quick on the quip, anyhow, got some more e-bay auctions up. and things in general aree o the up and up soooo,, good night every bodeeeee!!

Gene, I'm lighting a candle for you and putting you on my prayer list. Take it easy and let your body heal itself, as much as you can. I know it sucks when you are sick and "life" gets in the way.
