Its hard to hold on to your faith and keep believing when all the results seem to blow up in your face, but I'm trying

It breaks my heart, no one should have to be this sad at Christmas, I hope things turn around for everyone and soon. Hang in there Xena, maybe, just maybe they won't be poos at all and your job situation will improve. Joe, you hang in there too, If I can, I'll be here Christmas day, maybe we can get a chat going for awhile. I wish I could hug everyone but this is as close as I can get right now, just remember, it comes from the heart.

You are Welcome! Remember Joe, you are never alone as you always have yourself! There are those who love you and watch over you but you just can't see them in this life. Christmas is a magical time. The key is believing!

Guys Christmas can be a rough time of year for some of us. But try to look back to the good years, weren't there a good many more good ones than bad. Yes, some of us have had some bad holidays, but we've also had some wonderful memories. Try to only think of the good ones. Merry ChristmasPete

Update- we do have a buyer for the building (I should have explained, the building isn't mine). We are renting it, the rent is $7,000 a month. We can no longer stay afloat, it costs us $26,000 a month just to break even!! Our main worry was the $52,000 owed in back rent and almost three years left on the front rent. Things are looking great, I don't want to go into details yet (don't wanna jinx it). When it's said and done I'll report in, but I can tell you this, life is good! (and I'm happy 99.9% of the time) We will have a happy christmas, I promise!!

:)To All Here I enjoy reading the posts here. You all seem to act as one large extended family looking out for each other, giving words of encouragement and advice when needed. I know what goes on here is not that much, but the good heartedness and kindness is contagious. It may take a while, but it spreads slowly. And it's my personal opinion that, this kind contagiousness is something this country and the world needs. I pray that everyones prayers are answered, some may have already been answered, just not in the way expected. There is a reason for everything that happens to us. We may not see it, but there is. Anyhow I hope everyone has a safe and Merry Christmas. Jeff

Hey Randy that is great to hear! Fingers will be kept crossed for luck so give us good news soon. Thank you all for everyones warm wishes. I've gotten used to holidays alone so it's no big deal anymore. A morning hike up to the hills will be great 'cause no one will be on the trail! Come home and put something in the oven (NOT tiger eye!) to make the house smell good. Put out peanuts for the blue jays and squirrels and watch the wild animals party down! Eat whatever was in the oven if I didn't burn it and then a long nap! And of course checking in with my friends here at RTH! It sounds like a good day to me.

ya know, my great granpa died almost a year ago. thats sad. and my dog died jus' a little while ago, and i cant help feeling that this year is gonna kinda suck. my mom's best friend is having marital problems, and all the stress from that gets spilled out into my family. my mom's friend's husband is manic depressive, and alternately beats her, and pleads to let him come back to her. but she still says she loves him, and wont kick him out. she has a restraining order against him, but she wont call the cops.... if there is a higher power out there, i hope it smiles upon her soon, cuz she wont be sane much longer.

Alrighty, good news. The leasing agent has waved "all" of the front rent. They have also split the lease so only half ($25,000) is my responsibility and the other half is the responsibility of my business partner (he hasn't put a dime into this operation in a year). They are going to make him the same offer and if he says no then they're going to sue him for the entire amount of front rent ($6,500 x 30 months). That would be cool with me, I don't consider him to be much of a friend after this. Anyhow, I have the $25,000 (and then some) but I'd rather not have to put out another dime so my lawyer is trying to negotiate a little more. Hey, did y'all see the pics of my green zebra agate? ;D lol

Great news for Christmas eve! I'm glad to hear that Randy. That's gotta take a load off your mind. Hmmm, does that mean Santa is on his way west to Colo. from Va.? Ok I'll put out the cookies now.
