Alice they said about a week, but I found that keeping my knee immobilized was making fluid build up on it really bad. I've had surgery on it twice and know my knee pretty well, so I took the knee brace off, but am still using the ankle brace.

Yea be careful with that knee- Mine was pretty banged up when I was a wee lad (pretty bad snowmobile accident- that was never told to anyone- hmm dummy me) I know what that fluid build up can do to ya- Make sure you put it up for a couple minutes after work- let that knee relax! Oh and do you ice it down or heat it up? I tried icing (doctor recommended) and the freakin thing locks, swells up, and becomes pretty worthless- Heat on the other hand lossens everything up and really takes away that soreness- Seems to help a bit with the swelling too!

I can't tell if thats some Gneiss Schist, or that Schist is Gneiss. All I know is don't take it for Granite
