You guys are all my list as well.. Cher, Dru, Drupe & Susan. I have a little prayer box that I made and your names are all in there... I usually light couple of candles and some incense to get the good energies flowing. Keep the faith all and hang in there.

Great idea! We too will dedicate a special long burning candle for the RTH Family, Friends and Loved Ones. And light it each night along with incense ( Nag Champa & Dragons Blood ) in remembrance of all of those in need.
As long their is breath in this olde Dragon, this vigil will never cease. Should unforeseen events dictate, Rockpup is prepared, and will be passed the torch to carry on!
Be Well and Blessings to All!

Well....I need to add a prayer request. Some of you know that I lost my father to Pancreatic cancer last Sept. and now my step-father isn't doing too well. He's had chronic pain for several months and for the last 8 weeks he's been in and out of the hospital trying to get some relief. 3 surgeries and countless pain meds have done little to provide comfort. The doctors (orthopedic and neurological) can't seem to find out what's causing the pain and the pain meds aren't doing much except too cloud his judgment. He's been falling...alot..and trying to do things that he shouldn't be doing like driving! Ran right through the flower bed yesterday.
Mom is exhausted and pretty much fed up with the medical profession in general.
So...If I can request some prayers from you fine folks I'm absolutely certain that it will make a difference for the better.
Thanks, Dan

More Prayers to go out to you all- ANd maybe one for my family- We had some very sad news this morning- I find it even difficult to talk about it- but the short of it is that my beloved son is not going to be a daddy- I am both relieved (as they are way to young to be parents) and deeply sadden- as I was kinda getting used to the idea of being Popie (grandpa)

Emailed a bunch of family and friends, ( included a link to the RTH site.) they are more than happy to add the RTH Family & Friends to their prayers and thoughts. They too will spread the word.
Strength in numbers.

I do a lot of sinning and a lot of praying. It seems that the more I pray ,the more I sin and I don't know which out weighs the other right now.I doubt if I am in good standing with our Lord at this point but will ask Him to help all of you who are sick and in need of His help and mercy.

Returned from Bastrop yesterday evening. My stepfather seemed to be doing better on Saturday..he was up and moving around with the aid of a walker...but I think he may have overdone it a little because on Sunday he was hurting again. My mother will probably bring him to Houston for pain management.
Thanks for the prayers folks...I know they are being answered. Dan

Ahhh But Connrock- all you need to do is ask for forgiveness- To be aware of your sins- and to ask for forgiveness- that is all one needs in HIS eyes- Prayer for you-

Thanks Stefan,,,,,,,
I guess we ALL can use a little prayer said for us every now and then.
I try to be a good person and seem to fail at every attempt. The harder I try,the more I fail and fall into a deep depression feeling disgusted with myself.
I beg the Lord every day to help me and it seems that the more I ask for help, the more I find wrong with myself and it goes round and round and round!
I've always striven for perfection at what ever I do and I know a human being can't be perfect in any way but I can't even seem to scratch the surface of perfection when it comes to doing the right things.
So,,,,,,,,,,,Yes.I guess I can use a little prayer and I thank you for it.

Connrock, I only know you from this board but what I know of you, I think is pretty dang good. Don't be so hard on yourself! Maybe instead of striving for perfection you should ask the Lord to help you be the best that you can be. The world would be a boring place with a bunch of perfect people!

Cher - He's doing much better. He and Mom are in Houston today to see my wifes pain management doctor but he says he's feeling much better... Hopefully that trend will continue. Thanks for the prayers folks I'm travelling to Denver today for a week..attending a company sponsored training class...computer networking stuff. Don't know if I'll get a chance to hunt for rocks or not It's been pretty difficult to concentrate on work lately 'cause all I want to do is mess with the rocks. I bought a used 12' slab saw last Friday and spent most of the weekend getting it cleaned up. Have to replace all of the wiring and switches and then get the housing repainted. I'll post some pics when I return from Denver....
