Air-cooled VW's rule! Here's mine: It's 1960 Karmann Ghia, but as you said, it's only a fair weather car. My drive to work car is a very rusty 1986 Chevy Celebrity that I bought several months ago for $100. My wife has a 97 Ford Taurus, and we have a 96 Ford Areostar that we use for trips and that just hit 100K on our vacation in June. I used it a couple of days this week to go to work when the temps were 100 F (the air conditioning works well). My son has a 95 Chevy S10 and he recently got a 1980 Chevy Chevette. We had the engine apart replacing a valve this past weekend. It runs great now.

It looks fun! I will never be without a 4-wheel drive vehicle, especially in snow country! I now have a '97 Chevy Blazer. Had an '87 Chevy Blazer prior to this one. Used to have a '79 Subaru stationwagon...it was ugly and did it go through CV joints, but could it fly through the snow! Earthdog has a '94 Chrysler LHS and our new toy, the 2005 H.D. Electra Glide Classic. The Chrysler has been sitting out front being neglected since he got the bike!

Yeah, it's cool when the snowplow comes by the house and there's that big ridge of snow at the end of the driveway.......you just put the Blazer into 4-wheel drive, switch it into reverse, and back right up over the ridge.........no problem!! I know Earthdog will NOT take the Harley out in the snow! He can barely handle it when it gets rained on....not the drive, but the water spots! It has to be shiny and gleaming! Poor guy...he never gets a break. He's always wiping it down! But he's a proud papa and loves his new toy! Have you already waxed your new ride, stefan?

Nah- the last owner had it Simonized- still beads up water when it rains (every night since I picked it up) I just use my California duster on it once it is dry!!! Poor Earth- Hard to take on those HIGH Maintence babies huh? Well at least you got Christmas and Birthdays covered for the rest of his life (you can also add more chrome to a Harley!)

Yes, I do believe he is covered for gifts for a long time coming! Oh, boy......and the chrome! He's already addicted. Kind of funny.....my brother also has a Harley. We usually get him a gift card for the birthday/Christmas gifts from the local Harley dealer. Now, we will just be exchanging gift cards! It's definitely easy to shop for a Harley owner!

I have a 1995 Mitsubishi Mighty Max pickup with 165000 miles. I think the best thing on it is the spray in bedliner LOL. I'm looking to get like a Subaru Outback or something with 4wd for our camping adventures. Tami drives a 94 Saturn Twin Cam Coupe something or other. It sits way to low to the ground for me! She has a 1987 Jeep CJ-7 that will be repaired soon ( I hope!) that has been sitting since at least 1999 and a Honda 250 belt drive cycle that needs repair also. When that gets fixed she's selling it. We may keep the jeep for our camping since neither of us can afford a car payment or full insurance right now.

LMAO- My insurance on the SUbaru DROPPED!!! And I had to add collision to it!!! Because of the AWD, ABS, and daytime running lights (not to mention the above average crash tests) my insurance went down- Go figure? Hey those Mitsu Mighty Max- I think they were the same truck as the Dodge D-50's- I had a 1979 and a 1984- both with well over 125,000 on em- they just kept running and running- even if the body rusted off em!

Well I call it a Cruck- (Yes an actual term!!!) Amazing little piece of Japanese inginuity- Way ahead of it's time really- AWD (wheels that slip to the wheels that grip) Awesome Ride, handleing and control, ABS, Power everything, With the tailgate down and the rear seats folded down it has a bed 7.5 feet long !!!!!!of course the passthrough to the rear seat is only 30 inches high- But I very rarly carry anything huge anyway- Plus it has a towing capacity of 2400 LBS!!!!! and a payload of just over 1000 lbs.- Oh did I mention I got 28 MPG on it??

Hey, Well I drive an 1991 ISUZU RODEO 4x4 with 267,966 miles. All original miles. Everything is brand new except the engine and transmision. I finally fixed the clutch last year after driving with it bad for 3 years. I love my RODEO.
