If you dig around on e-bay, sometimes theyre even less if somone is trying to dump some. I got a 30 piece set for $3.50 once. they are not great quality, but hey, for less than $5 w/shipping, they suite me fine.

Stephan. It is a good deal if you can get 30,000-35,000rpm. Less and they go up in smoke. I have a lot of diamond bits, and I can only go to 7500rpm. I very rarely use them unless I do not mind sacrificing my bit.

I have no clue what RPM my dremel wanna be is. There's speed 1-6, and then "oh my God, she's gonna blow!" HI speed. Doc, do you have an idea what these speeds, converted to the dremel like product you use, is? I'm not trying to be a wise donkey, I really can't remember the brand name of your hand held right now, but you know what I mean ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) cookie

Well I get 35,000 on my Dremel so that is good- But here is the HUGE PROBLEM- Tomorrow (sat) I am going out to buy a Trim Saw- My Beautiful perfect wife finially said Yes get the stupid saw (as long as It does not go over $100) Well Lowes here I come! So how do I also ask for a set of diamond bits? What I figured is after the Ocean Jasper chips are done I will show them to here and offer to make one of those tumbled stone chip necklaces- then say - oh darn I have no way to drill them- hmmm I need some diamond Bits- So gals what do you think- Will that work?
