My dad had diabeities- well last week his foot was bothering him- He had gotten new work boots and they had rubbed his foot causing a bister- well one thing lead to another and he ended up with an infection- Antiboitics have not touched it and now the doctors fear he may have ruptured a blood vessel and may have a clot in his leg- If you could just say a quick prayer for him- I would greatly appreciate it.

Stefan, I am so glad for the good news. Having been there, done that, almost losing my right leg a few years ago, and having fought off another bout of cellulitus this winter, I know what fun that isn't. I am sending out my best wishes and fondest hopes for a speedy and complete recovery for him.

glad to hear it wasn't a clot, Stef. my dad also has diabetes, so i can commiserate. and he wears work boots all day most of the week. (he's 74 and still works harder than most younger men).
hope the new meds work for your dad,
KD

My daddy suffered with diabetes. I sure hope they can get that infection under control. My daddy would have told him to always, always no matter ever what to take care of the feet. There's a reason for that. Prayer sent.

Talked to him again last night- the new meds are WORKING!!! His foot is starting to hurt (a good thing- that means the swelling is going down) and mom says he is getting cranky- (also means he is feeling better) thanks all for the prayers-
