I think we all should contact Mark and do as Daniel suggested before ... I think Space should be banned. He's doing nothing but causing hate and discontent. And Susan, you're right, he's a flamer and this is just feeding his fire.
He's getting his kicks trying to ruin this group so lets not give him anymore pleasure. IGNORE HIM. Don't send him anymore pm's Dan, he's not worth it. Like any flame, don't give him any oxygen and he'll expire.
Mark, please consider banning Spacegold rather than allowing him to ruin our group. Anyone else besides Daniel agree?

It doesn't really have anything to do with them, he just doesn't like anything the democrats have to say and since he didn't like what Dan said, he associated him with the democrats. Its just his way of saying he's a republican and anything democratic sucks.

Sorry, I disagree with banning him.
We've had bigger blow-ups than this and never resorted to banning before. In fact, most of the egging on in this matter has been done by other members repeatedly talking about hammering and smashing, etc. Space has actually only started two posts on the subject - once to tell Rollingstone to move on and once to post what Blarney sent him in a PM. I've also looked through the last 100 posts of his - only ONE of his posts since Rollingstone first wrote that he was tired of the snide remarks has been about his dislike of hammered rocks, and that one was his response to Rollingstone. Every other hammered comment has come from someone else picking at him, and he's replied in kind to those people.
While I might not agree with the tone or the subject matter, it's the reactions of the other members that is annoying me. Get over it, everyone.
The Democrat dig is based on the flare-up that happened in the joke thread, which I personally think was also blown out of proportion.

guys i have the button to ban him but i wanted to let this all go away and see if the digs about anything keep up -- i think baning should be the very last straw -- im gonna lock this post and wait and see what happens im asking everyone please dont make another post about this or space --- and space have alittle respect for the other members your on the edge we like to hang out together and dont need all the dramma -----thanks all
