I remember that only a few days after Katrina hit Bush started pushing hard for this authority... scared the sh*t out of me to think that it might happen and now it has... YOU can be denied all due process and your constitutional rights and it's all legal. They only need to declare you as an enemy of the State and it's "Go directly to jail.. do not pass go.. do not collect $200".
I've heard it said that: 'US military forces are trained to fight the enemy... when those forces are used domestically as law enforcement , the US citizen becomes the enemy.' ......Food for thought.

I was scared of him before he took office. All I can say is that I didn't vote for the recovering alcoholic, former oilman either time that he ran for president. I did vote against him but it didn't do any good.

That’s a good question. I think is bases on simple control. Keep them scared, full of drugs, unhealthy, and poor. And if they have anything bad to say about that, put them in jail.
There’s a scary movie out there called "Jesus Camp", for anyone interested in were are country is going, I think this doc has many good points. and its funny how evangelicals think the European Union is the next Roman Empire. our leaders and the right wing movement in my opinion is taking this country to the dogs. they are the creators of their own demise in the return of their king. How else will he return if they don’t create (in their own minds) the prophecy of return? Why else is this current event only showing more desctruction?
It obvious to me that our government is a bought and sold system. And its the interests of few that will effect the many. Why else does our gov't really need to be so secretive on so many now related things to terrorism orr national security? Who are they actually protecting except their own money interests?

All things come to an end...this nation started with a bloody war and will probably dissapear in one. But you might want to start stocking up on guns now. It could get difficult to buy them later.
That 58% of Americans say they want Bush gone now is a pretty scary thing in itself...than no one is satisfied to wait 2 years is bad.

All I need is a glock and a few chewy protein bars and I'm good for awhile.

Scary stuff. Good thing all the troops are in Iraq, and more on the way. Makes you wonder about the Dems motivations. They want to bring the troops home in time for when they get back into the White House...

It's almost like the Star Wars movies. He's going to declare himself emperor and do away with the senate. Lori
