Too bad he couldn't have used his shovel to "pull" himself out. I'll bet that guy will take a good ribbing among his peers for years to come.

He was digging to make a holding pond larger in a large arroya. This pond keeps the rain waters from washing out the high school parking lots. It was the city doing the job and yes I would think if he was a good driver he could have used the arm and bucket to pull while driving the tracks to get out. And to think, we havent had rain since September.

That was my first thought too, pull yourself out with the boom. How strange to get stuck in the "mud" in such a dry area.

Stefan, Yes its a 2007 Prairie 360 that hauls 250 pounds of Agate at a time. I am very happy with it.
