We got another 3 inches of rain yesterday. The water is a foot over the spillway. I sat there and watched 2-3 ft grass carp go over the spillway by the dozens. $25 a pop when they're 6 inches long, can you imagine how much money a 2 footer would be? Hundreds of $$ gone into the lake below us. Hope they enjoy.

Too bad about the wasted fish ..but thank God for the rain 'eh? I'm so glad we're getting rain this year. We haven't had a rainy Spring season like this in many, many years.

wow some cool fish stories!!! My daughter snagged a Snapping turtle last weekend- she hands me the pole and tells me she was snagged- hmmm snags generally don't swim!! we pulled up a big guy (about a foot long) thankfully she had just hung it on the shell- so we were able to just pop the jig off and let him go about his way!
