;D think I saw the ISS last night too!---- if it wasn't then we have another "UFO" sighting to report ! ;D ;D --- also saw 4-5 streaks going across the sky ---- one went across about half the field of vision before disappearing ! ---- may have to try again tonight !

Meteor watchings excellent, I do enjoy catching a good shooting star - one which appears right where your watching at the time and burns slow and bright. Glad you got to see a trailer Condor, it's magic when you can see the ionised trail for a few moments after the event. Can't wait for my favourite shower in December, Geminids are the best!!! I've seen several great displays, they are often filled with lots of colours, and are much slower moving, off the top of my head Persids are about 70 km per second, and Geminids are 30-40. Much easier to see, and often much bigger! I saw one in '96 that left a trail lasting over 2 minutes, huge green silent and awesome!
