It seems we've found yet another thing politics doesn't mix with...rocks...or is it people? hmmm
regardless - the second page of this thread seems a little more hug-like to me than that first page....sheesh...I was thinking to myself, man I wouldn't even have recognized that as a hug if I hadn't been told what it was to start out.
Now, I'd like to know just what kind of rock that is in that picture LadyB. Do you think it will tumble well? Are those poppies I see there? or just polka dots? Should I bring a hammer and chisel or will it fit in my car? I sure wish you would have put a quarter next to it so I could tell... You guys sure do have some strange rocks down there.

That neat statue stands in front of an elementary school in Orlando, FL. The school has a really neat tradition: ""HUGS" is a stone landmark located in the garden entranceway of the school. School staff who retire at _______ ______ are presented with a miniature version of "Hugs" in addition to having a tree dedicated in his/her honor." The rock had to be imported. The shells just wouldn't hold together. The school's theme for this past school year is pretty neat, too: "We're All In This Together!" Seems kids can teach us a lot! Lady B |
