I was just reading an article about a new blood test to predict Alzheimer's. I know of tests for other incurable diseases that predict if you carry the gene, etc. My question is...would you want to know?

I definitely would. Some diseases are genetic YET you could lower your risk of some of them just by knowing and altering your lifestyle.

Yes, I would. Knowing far enough ahead of time, one may be able to take actions to delay its onset, lessen its effect, or perhaps even prevent it. Or, if none of these, then at least be able to get one's personal life taken care of to have the least adverse affect on the rest of one's family.
