Takila - he's a hair eater as well. First one I've had that actually CHEWS on my hair. I've had others that sniff the hair, but not chew on it.
Doc - it wouldn't suprise me if he's at least part *other* cat. His stripes are broken - more spotted than striped, but not as well-formed as the pictures of Bengals I've seen. I've also said he looks like a hyena - his back legs are a longer than the front, given him the appearance of always stalking. I have no idea of parentage, though, as he was a kitten rescue in the lot of a hardware store. The people needed to move a stack of lumber and there he was. So we hand-fed him from before his eyes were open. It was an interesting experience.

The hind legs sounds like a Bengal mix. Bengals tend to be left behind. They are beautiful, and cranky. Real cranky. Everyone we know who has Bengals laughs when I ask how they around people. Here in Floriduh, there is a species of cat that is exclusive to Floriduh. It has rosettes like a Bengal, long face, and is a feral cat. We did some looking into it as our cats also look like that cat. The well formed spots you see on classic Bengals are actually bred down. Look up Asian Leopard cat. Ours are classic, and the tail has the Black Mamba markings. They are our owners and do not care where they came from. I bet your owner is the same. "Who cares. Feed me. Now." Ralph is licking plastic as I write.

I have no solution sorry, our cat (actually a kitten really) (god knows what she was doing in it) made the tree fall down, on multiple occasions - all the balls were breakable too - never caught her doing anything wrong, would just come home from school to find the tree on the ground with broken balls laying around... *sigh*

Sounds like you need a fire hose; tazer and pepper spray. In that order; lol. My cat chews on stuff like that I think to clean his teeth. Maybe get some catnip and stuff it in the spaces on a corigated box; it will keep him/her occupied.
