Great Thread. Tahoma cuts in so many different patterns and colors it is truly amazing. You never really know what will show up. These are some of the ones I have cut and polished. The Maple Leaf is from a "bisquit cut" www.gametrails.com/Tahoma Maple Leaf.jpg[/img]

Ahem! Wanted to state for the record, that I have gotten a good amount of Tahoma from Chasfire (and another seller too) & when I said I felt some was dissapointing, first off, it was a while back (this original post was started a year ago ya'll!) and if I were upset about the quality...I would fer sure contact the seller! I was speaking in generalities and besides...he's got good pics with his lots!
OK...thank you & good night!

Liz looks like yo hit the jackpot with that tahoma - I have about 3 small tumbling size pieces - tried to cut on on the trim saw and it,s HARD!

Do ya think Tweet? LOL
I haven't cut any but a couple of small pieces I've tried to split biscuit style and the only thing I've done was ruin a beefy flathead screwdriver!

Liz: If you want I can cut some up for you. I am attaching another picture of some of the neat plumes that present themselves in Tahoma Agate/Jasper when cut and polished. This piece weighs about 8 oz. chasfire
