I want to thank everyone for the kind words of encouragement. and like Pete says...The Good Lord made the stone, I was just privileged to smooth out some of the rough spots You are all too kind with your praise, but I am appreciative. It was just one of those stones that once it is finished you just must share it's beauty. The wire is 24 guage square dead soft gold filled. The binding is 24 guage half round. I would have preferred 25 or 26 guage, but there was no such animal. I was happy to post it. -Banjo

24 gauge, thanks!! I'm gonna order some probably tomorrow, I imagine that the dead soft will bend a little easier then the brass did, I'm looking forward to trying some out!

That phantom quartz is an awesome stone, but I LOVE the Montana agate piece. The wrap just compliments the stone so perfectly. It looks Asian somehow, like the brushstroke of a beautiful Japanese character, or a Koi fish swimming in a pond. Gorgeous. S
