Holy Jeepers that is small - I really like it - the wrap and the stone - I bet you need glasses now - man that's tiny!

Great job Karen, now you have two under your belt. That's really good to do one that small and do it so nicely too. Small ones area hard to work on.

Thanks all! I still can't do larger ones at all, but I guess thats okay, its less expensive to little ones. There is a lot less wasted wire when it doesn't work out!

Karen...how sweet is that!
For myself, when speaking of larger stones only, I tend to like simpler wraps so that the stone is the focal point, but when I saw this one...the wrap is actually the artistic focal point and the stone becomes the accent. I LOVE IT!

Very pretty, looks like it should be worn by some Elf Queen. I love moonstone. S

Thanks you guys, you are all too nice! And if I ever see an elf queen, I'll be sure to give it to her. That sure would be something wouldn't it! ;D

Okay Karen, my respect just went up for this wrap. I messed with the DVDs this weekend...and the other way is so much easier to make pretty! My "wire sculptures" all ended up dismantled with the wire smoothed and then wrapped aound the designated stone. I don't know if the problem was the "cut" of the stones I was using or if it was just the operator, but at this point I'm thinking it was the operator. Next time, I'll play with the craft wire first.

I'm sorry to hear you had trouble. I've gone through tons and tons of wire myself. I tried to do a regular wrap once and it was a disaster too, though I was trying to wrap a faceted stone. The wire sculpture seems easier to me, less wires to keep track of.

I really like it! It's beautiful and you did a great job! Atta a girl! I tend not to like bigger and heavy looking wraps. Simple works for me! Very artistic as well!
