that's really nice cher, do you twist your own wire or do you buy it twisted? Is it hard to work with twisted wire?

I bought this wire from firemountain Robert, used it on the last laker I did too. It doesn't show well but the other wire used on this one is square. The twisted wasn't hard to work with at all, but the square gave me a bit of greif. Trying to decide what to do with the tails, I twisted the square wire and couldn't get it to straighten out so did the curly again.

Jeepers that is beautiful! Can you just let me know how many wires you use on those? I like the curly thing

Thanks for the compliments everyone.
Tweet, this one is done with just three wires. I normally use four wires but I wanted to see the twisted wire alone on the sides with this one so gave it a try. I think it was a wee bit easier working the twisted wire with the round wire like I did on the last laker.

This is really pretty cher-do you use mostly 20G square? KJ

Thanks KJ. This was 22 gauge square, the twisted wire is 19 gauge. For the most part, every thing I use is 22 gauge, including the half-round for binding. The only thing I did recently was switched from dead soft half round to half hard, I think it holds better.

I've been using 18 half round for binding-anything less seemed flimsy-but it looks great on your's, so I'll have to give it a try.
I've got your website bookmarked-I love looking at your work. kj

That's a lucky laker, having such a nice wrap to wear.

Very beautiful, Cher. The curl reminds me of my hair.... I'm not sure how you do it, but you definitely have an eye for balancing wire and stone!!
