OK...these are not as elaborate as the first...I wanted to show the gallery 3 different levels of artistry. Hopefully these did that. Oh...and I wanted to shoot home my "style" if you will. This is Script Jasper in 14k gf. This is Angelite with Swarovski crystals and light blue freshwater pearls.

Thanks! It's so funny, cause I love to make elegant looking jewelry and yet...this is who I am. Just a country gal that loves to play with wire and stones...and horses...and dogs...and cats... ;D

Nancy those are stunning! You are a girl after my own heart, I used to have horses too, and really am just an old country girl. Love your horse!!
What gauge of wire did you use? Also, half hard, full hard? (I'm guessing full hard to hold those curls without being too flexible).

Thanks gal! Yep...love my animals. lol
OK...I mostly use 21 gauge square soft! Yep, soft...has to be to twist it and that gives it a half-hard temper...then tumble the heck out of it to harden it further. Now, sometimes I do use half-hard wire where the wire is to be bent in to hold the stone, but the other wires will be soft in order to sculpt easier. Just depends on if I plan to twist or not. Most of my bails are twisted and if they aren't, they are half-hard wire. Everything gets tumbled with stainless steel shot...if it is a soft stone, I add plastic pellets to cushion the shock and I also won't tumble as long...check every 30 min.
All my half-round wire for binding is half-hard...and 21 gauge on the sides and usually 18 gauge for binding the bail wires.

Aha! Finally someone to answer the question about stainless steel shot with an already mounted stone! I've read about tumbling to harden the wire further, but I've been afraid to do so with stones in the wrap.
Hmmm...another use for plastic pellets!

Beautiful! I love the look, it looks fluid! You're right, you're not what I expected when I saw your work! I can't imagine the gallery won't jump all over the chance to offer your work!

Very nice work Nancy. Your wraps are very clean and fluid and enhance the stones. Do you cut your own cabs too? Oh, in your other post(the necklace) you said you wouldn't take a pic of yourself wearing the necklace because you were too old, you lied to us!

WOW! Thanks all! I feel like I just entered Heaven...lol.... Anywho, you will be amazed at your pieces when you get them out of that tumbler...sooooo shiny and clean! I use 2 lbs of Stainless steel shot (make sure it is stainless!), fill with water till 2/3 full, add a little squirt of Dawn dish soap(easy now, don't over do)...then tumble. When using plastic pellets, I use 1 lb. of stainless steel shot and fill with plastic pellets till 1/2 full...then add water till 2/3 full, squirt a tad of Dawn dish soap and tumble. Ha! Yep...just a cowgirl...lol....and NO I didn't lie to ya'll...I AM old and proud of all my 52 years! haaa haaaa haaaaa and in that pic, you can't see the wrinkles either...or age spots...or...well, ya get the picture. However, it is said that I do not act my age...and I'm proud of that too! Again, thanks for all the kuddos on my work...oh yeah...someone asked how long I've been making wire jewelry...since about 2002.

Wow, very nice! The first pendant is spectacular and the second reminds me of a set of jewels that were given to Queen Elizabeth.....The necklace, earrings, and crown were on display at the Smithsonian. You can bet I would jump at the chance to display your art if I had a gallery.
