WEll Jaime...here is your other pendant. I emailed you that it was finished and was mailing it today...however, I like it so much, that I am going to keep it. Naw...I'm mailing it. ;D oh...I adjusted the stones and they are all setting nicely now...the pic shows them a tad off.

Awesome work, and that dark green of the main rock is incredible. A little too many colors in the other small stones, but the color taste differs from person to person.

Beautiful! But I do agree with Adrian (personal preference) I think the main stone could easily have stood by itself. I'm assuming the others were used as balance stones due to the shape of the main stone. Speaking of the main stone, what is it, the color is stunning!!

Thanks all...the stones were chosen by Jaime...I just designed and made the piece. In real life, it really looks quite pretty...although like you all, I would never have thought to put these stones together. I'd wear it...and that says a lot! The side stones could be removed if she so desires... I don't know what the center stone is...it is two shades of green and blue. It's not Azurite and Malachite...dunno. Jaime will tell us.

ooohhhh....I think I will wait till she sees it before I ship it to her...then I can remove the side stones if she wants me too. She did want me to use all the stones...so maybe she will like it.

I like it, very pretty. How do the curlies hold up - do they catch on clothes, sweaters, etc.? It'll be interesting to see if she keeps all of the stones, probably will. Nice job Nancy. That main stone is definitely a drooler!

Thanks again for the feedback ya'll. The curlies actually don't touch the body, except maybe the very bottom one...so, probably not a problem with catching on anything. However, I suppose if you had a really big looped, shag type top on...ack! I haven't seen one in years though...lol...still, ya never know. I've made this type of curl for a few years and wear them with sweaters...no problem so far.

Neat. I also agree on the stone issues. I wonder..... how it would look without anything below the main stone? Your Style is truly unique keep it up.

The stones on the sides may be birthstones. The blue & green ones go with the main stone. It may be some of her special rock. Chyscolla or something like that, hehe, I can never remember how to spell it. I really like it myself. Thanks for the pictures! Tonja

You may be right Tonja! Like I said earlier...it looks soooo much prettier in real life. I should have taken another pic of it after I straightened the stones. dang....

I was going to ask if that was a "mother's" piece, with all the kids' birthstones. If so, how neat! I can see a lot of different ideas there. Each month has several different stones. I think it would be great fun to design a 'natural rock' kind of mother's pendant, using the non-precious stones (altho I do like those precious stones, don't get me wrong!) I found this site: www.jewelrymall.com/birthstones.htmlWell, I'm September, and all my boys, hubby included, are November. (OK, so we celebrated Valentine's Day a few times, LOL.) So, I could end up with a piece of jewelry with sapphire (nah), agate (sure!), moonstone (sure!) or chrsolite (??, did they spell it right?), with 3 chunks of topaz, citrine, or pearl. Perhaps one of each? I could live with that! And it would be modern, traditional, mystic, ayurvedic (what the heck does that mean?) or 15-20th century. A pendant for all purposes! Works for me! What do you expert wrappers think?

Sorry, Nancy, I forgot to say what wonderful work you do! Altho that piece is a bit too formal for my own personal style (I'm a jeans gal), I do admire your style and workmanship. Everything you do is a work of art, and I sit in awe every time I see one of your pieces.
