Hey all, just finished some of the preforms I got from Bearcreek. He sure does have some nice material to work with. Feathery Plume from Oregon 30x18mm Woodward Ranch Plume 24x15mm Montana Dendritic Agate 19mmx12mm Montana Dendritic Agate 20x14mm I tried to get some backlit pics of these, but they're so clear that the camera won't focus properly, but they look awesome backlit. Thanks for looking

Call the Drool Guard in...we're gonna need some help and plenty of SANDBAGS!!! Those are all so cool...that first one has some many colors in it, it's hard to believe that it's real. Love the shape on the 2nd one....the 3 and 4 one are just as Nice. You should've forewarned us about getting our bibs! Steve

Fantastic cabs Ed, I love the plume and dendritic agates too. Is the first one with the feathery plume Borthwick Plume? It's very spectaclar and quite unusual!....mel

Kim: If you want a quick primer on how plumes form etc. , try Pat McMahans site agateswithinclusions.com. He has a nice short essay on how plume and sagenite forms in agate and the pics in his database are wonderful!...mel

Thanks eveyone, it's easier to make nice cabs when you have nice material to work with, and this stuff from Bearcreek is really nice material. The second one started out as a teardrop shape but the top broke off on the 80g wheel, so you might call it a Cabo-save. And the white square and what looks like a scratch on the third one is actually a reflection of the camera. Either I have to move the camera back a little or quit making the stones so shiny! I also need to get the dust off the stones before I take the pics too.

This are very nice Ed, try an anti-static cloth from a camera store. they are inexpensive and work. But here in the desert, you can never win no matter how hard your try. That frist cab is very nice plume agate, nice colors. Those Dendritics are nice too! i like the last one best out of the while group. Cher, mels right, Pats site is the best online for this kinda of info. HIs write up is short, but you can email him questions and he enjoys them from what he told me the last we talked. Plus his photo of included agates are unlike any others online.

WOW that first one should be illegal, it's gorgeous, stunning, amazing ... all those good meaning words apply. It looks like underwater multi-colored coral. You got some beautiful stuff from bear!!

That coral reef cab (#1) is just unbelievable. I have a couple of preforms of Bear's, some dino bone, petosky stone, stuff nobody else bid on - it's still pretty. Of course, I missed out on all the plumes and dendritics and the good Lakers, 'cuz y'all outbid me. *sour grapes* S

Stoner - I hope you have a lot more of Bear's material in reserve. The two plumes are spectacular!!!
