I cut the slabs into rough shapes. Joi used our bench grinder setup to clean them up and dome them. Then they went into my vibe for cleanup and polish. Sorry for all the pics but Joi and I are really excited about these. So here they are. Mook OJ OJ again Plasma Agate from rallyrocks Crazy Lace another OJ Another OJ Noreena Jasper didn't shine up all that well. Mook. Wiggins Fork Moss agate Crazy Lace Dino bone OJ again Thanks for looking.

Really nice job on those! great variety of colors and patterns and I really like the shapes. If I had to pick favorites, I have to say the last two. Love the giant eyes in the OJ and man that is one colorful bone cab!....Mel

Great cabs, probably they'll be wrapped soon. My favs are the last OJ (great cell division!), the moss and the second mook... and the dino... and the first OJ.

Very nice! You made them look as if they came off a expensive cabbing machine. Looks like you have the technique down.

Where there's a wiil, there's a way, and you guys have found a way to create some great cabs without the use of a cabbing machine. Excellent job shaping them Joi and it looks like most of them took a great shine Jeremy. Just imagine your excitement being able to go from rough to polish one one machine! Jeremy, you definitely need to save those pennies and get Joi a grinder.

Nice cabs, Jonje, especially the Mook and the dino bone. I wouldn't give up on the Noreena cause it's a cool lookin' stone.

Thanks for all the comments. Trust me if I could afford a lapidary grinder Joi would have one.

Thank you everyone!! Just a comment on the Noreena jasper... He wasn't happy with the lack of shine, but the matte finish really brought out the beauty of the stones as you can see. I'm happy with the matte finish, and apparently so is everyone else who has seen them in person. The colors are very vibrant. thanks again.

Jeepers! those are great, as I'm scrolling down, I'm mentally noting the favorites, well I kept picking the next one down - but that wiggins fork is my all time favorite - along with the mook and the noreena... I'm very decisive

As someone who only has a tile saw, standard bench grinder and rotary tumbler, it's really encouraging to see what people can turn out with fairly basic and less expensive equipment.
Good job guys and thanks for posting.

yea... that 2nd Mook is my favorite too... but the 1st OJ is pretty sweet... i like 'em all really. Joi must be a natural...
Oh yea... i know what you mean about matte finish Joi.. sometimes a cab doesn't have to be ultra shiney to be beautiful...

Those cabs are really nice. I LOVE OJ. Funny thing is that I think the Noreena Jasper is one of my favorites!
