Well, as the close of escrow grows near, things are getting really hectic here, so I decided I needed to sit and do some cabbing. (Like I need an excuse! ) So here they are. Dendritic Opal Botswana Morgan Hill Poppy Jasper Sodalite Rhodonite from Stoneage Industries Malachite Thanks for looking.

those look great Ed, very impressed with the Sodalite and the Malachite is cool looking also. It's good to get away and cab some times. I pounded out about 25 this past weekend and had a blast doing it

I like very much the shape of the malachite cab, and that Botswana seems to be an endless tunnel!

Great job Ed on those - like you need an excuse to cab!

in my limited experience, Tweet, Lapis has little flecks of "gold" in it and sodalite doesn't....
great cabs, Stoner, love the shapes, especially on the poppy jasper. nice job on the malachite, too....hope you don't leave too much of a mess for the new tenant!

good quality sodalite like that is often translucent cobalt blue also. I have a bunch of that old rough. I love those shapes!

You can't beat rock therapy. Very colorful batch there and cool shapes. I like the Morgan Hill and the Bots particularly. The shape of that Bots is right on for the pattern. Steve
