Just finished up my latest cabs this evening. Sunday night I cut slabs and preforms, Monday night worked them through 80, 220 and 400. Last night did 600-3000 and tonight finished with 14 and 50k. I started losing light while taking the pics (I know.. there's_always an excuse for crappy pics ), but nevertheless I'm gonna show them anyway. Hopefully by the end of next week I'll have a new camera First an unknown. Chapenite maybe? Mel? 40x30. Crappy pic Red Jasper with hematite and a lil quartz Printstone Rhodochrosite Another unknown. Neat stuff that took a great shine. 30x22 Brenda. I really have to take another pic of this in full light.. there's a great red on red pattern that just didn't turn out in this pic. "I see a red stone that my camera painted black.." ~Stones Malachite 30x22 Some kinda Lace. Again the red up top lost a bunch of detail with the setting sun Thanks a bunch for looking

Wow! Love that Brenda Agate cab! Great shape and use of the pattern! Darn good looking shine on the Printstone too. I've always thought is was a difficult material. Can't help you on the unknowns. beautiful stones and a killer polish though!....mel

Wow! You must be getting along really good with that new machine. Excellent job on all of these, cool shapes, nice cuts, killer shine! The blue unknown is just blue jasper, or at least that's what I've bought it as, and I think it comes from NM. I'll bet the rhodocrosite started out somewhat larger than the finished stone, right? Definitely a great set of cabs.

Wonderful cabs Beef! Good to see you are keeping that now machine busy. Is it starting to get covered in rock gunk yet? That Brenda is amazing. I love that pattern. The one above it is nice too. I think it might be sage agate (amethyst sage agate). I like the red jasper and hematite a lot also. Steve

Beef, they are all phenomenal!! I wish I could get photos half as good as those. The shape you did for the printstone is perfect for showing off that stone. I like the brenda too, can't wait to see a "better picture". The unknown stone above that is really interesting. Great job on all.

Thanks everyone!
Ed how'd you guess that the rhodo started out larger? ;D Kinda just melted away like pink butter. Tweet I have never heard of purple rhodocrosite, but that's not saying much as I still have a lot to learn. And Steve you bet the cabber's gettin' dirty lol
I really appreciate the comments!!

Beef, What an awesome set of cabs. The Malachite is gorgeous but I really like the 2nd unknown. It looks like someone threw an Emperor Penguin in a blender and hit high. Really like those colors throughout. Steve

Brian, thesse are fantastic! That first one is unbelievably gorgeous. I have to keep going back and looking at it. Sure wish you knew what it was, so I could get some of it.
I really like the Print Stone too. I've never seen that material before.
