It seems my camera works half the time. Either that, or the person behind the camera gets it right half the time. Sorry for the couple blurry pics. Dino Bone (40 x 25mm) - only way I could get this picture to turn out was on this piece of pic jasper. Picture Jasper (38 x 23mm) - any hints to get a good shine on this? It's one of the hardest stones I've ground yet...but it just wouldn't shine up like the agates do. This one has a really fine grain... Now the crazy family. My brother-in-law has an old Crazylace bolo that was his grandfather's. His sons want bolo ties now like their daddy's. My sister would like a necklace that matches. And well, you can't leave the nieces out either.... Sister's pendant (38 x 23mm) Niece's pendant (24mm) Another niece pendant (30 x 22mm) One bolo (25 x 18mm) (he's only 4!) The other bolo (28 x 20mm) - whoops! This picture is upside down.

WOW! Those sure are beauties! You know, I was just checking my family tree and I think we are related. I'm your Great Aunt's sister's daughter's cousin's wife's niece's Great-Aunt by marriage, three times removed. I'll take a cab just like the one you made...well heck, I'll take any one of those gorgeous cabs, dear! Imagine finding a family member right here at RTH! Lady B

Beautiful work all. I've been obsessing over dino bone lately, so that definitely got my attention. And rightly so. The crazy lace family cabs are fantastic. And who doesn't like the soft blue of picture jasper. Nice work.

beautiful stuff and great job - the darn jaspers I find are pretty stinky but I find they never take a really good shine like the agates do
Great job

you made a mistake, the one titled Niece's pendant (24mm) should read jonje's pendant (24mm) hehe. Great looking batch of cabs.

Excellent cabs Ronda. The second lace cab is very cool looking. Are you using diamond paste on leather? That should shine the picture jasper no problem.

Stoner - I use diamond paste on resin for 1200 & 3000, then switch to leather for 14k & 50k. I just don't see much difference in the pic jasper after 1200! I don't know if I didn't clean the stone off well enough between, contaminating the whole rest of the process or what. I'm about to order a 1200 nova wheel to take one more step out of the paste...or get a smaller arbor for polish. I don't like the end plate with the diamond on it, and am wondering if it would change if I had an actual leather belt...
