Well, sorry it took so long, but here are a few cabs from the material I collected at Burro Creek and the agate pile, along with a few special cabs that were given to me. A cool green jasper I'm going to call this one Burro Creek Rootbeer Agate This is the cab I worked up on the gas powered grinder at the campground. Somebody walked off with the rest of the nodule and I would like it back. This is a piece of shattuckite I got from Jamie and Rodney's house and I cabbed it at the campground also. Not a cab-YET-I found this slab of Carey Mt plume amongst the slabs that snowdog set out for everyone to take home. Thanks Dave! Now for the special cabs. This first one is my first Beefjello cab and man, it's a beauty. This guy is a natural born cabber. Thanks Brian. This one is a fire agate that Sheri had collected on a mountain near Jamie's house, cabbed it and presented it to me at Burro Creek as a thank you for helping her get started cabbing. This is no ordinary fire agate though. It has great color in it's fire layer which is exposed-something I've never seen before. If you look closely, you can see some fire covered by agate, and then the rest is exposed(the agate layer is missing) I told her this was something special and that she should keep it, but she insisted I take it. Thank you Sheri, you're too kind and I will treasure this cab always. Another view

Wow -- all stunning, but if I ever have to be stranded on a desert island with only one of your cabs, I'll take the last one. What a beaut.

Wow, all of those are really awesome. I have a special place in my heart for fire agate, though, and that one is stunning.

If I wouldn't have seen the last two ones (yours and Beefjello's) I would have said I like most the green and the blue ones. But those last ones are completely special, each of them are one of a kind!

The Beefjello cab looks a lot like the Hungarian stuff Zotika had! Beautiful The stucktite is beautiful too! Very breathtaking - and excellent job on the fire agate Excellent job on all of them - a drool warning would have been nice you know!

Wow I love that green jasp.. you found that out there? Nice! Hey is the surface of it like the shattuckite cab (kinda triangular) or is it an illusion with that white stripe running through? Very nice either way. Man that sucks the rest of that one walked away! I'm sure it was accidental and when whoever has it realizes it they'll contact you. I'm glad you like the piepline cab ;D That lil fracture appeared while I was working it but luckily it stayed intact. Ooh the rootbeer looks great too.. and I can't wait to see the Carey Plume dressed up!

Great stuff Ed, the master strikes again. Brians cab is unreal in color, and I have never seen a fire agate like that, great education.

Beautiful, as always! Took you so long?! I still have a bunch of buckets in my front room! I can't believe you that someone walked away with that nodule! Let us know if it shows up; that was the find of the creekbed in my opinion!
Show us more, show us more!

Thanks everyone. That fire agate is just one of the coolest pieces I've ever seen, definitely a rare find. Brian, I found the green one on the first day up in the agate field. I found a few more like it too. I'm going to wait until I get my FRB's before I put out an APB on that agate nodule, but I don't remember packing it. Oh, and yes, the shattuckite does come to a point rather than the usual dome on the face of the cab. Something I've been experimenting with lately.
