On another forum We had a thread on what people saw in the cab images. It was a lot of fun reading about what images they saw in the cab. The variety and level of people's imagination was mind-blowing. Lets give it a try....so what do you see? Bob

By the way this is a double-sided cab. After people comment on what they see here I will post a photo of the other side. Bob

Hmmm... I see two things.
The first is kinda obvious - a volcano spewing lava.
The second is an underwater scene - reminds me of two fish and a coral reef - the one fish (and some little guppy friends) swimming about in the water and the other fish peeking around the side of the reef.

I see a volcano too. Very interesting. Is that one of your mega-cabs? Thanks for posting.

A volcano that' s birthed a fire bunny! Two! One jumping down the hill on the left, amid the sparks and flares of fire, the other cleaning it's lava back on the right. ~Dee

I see a stegoasurus in the foreground and a young tricerotops in the left background. His horns aren't fully grown--that's how I know he's a young'un.

Ok, I see a woman on the right side of the bed sitting, leaning against her sleeping, snooring man, with her knees bent, watching the sun rise. Both are under a very colorful blanket that drapes over the bed. There is an orange cat sitting on the nightstand flicking her tail. The woman is listening to her ipod to Rusted Root Rain and wondering what words he is singing and that is drowning out the man's snooring, mostly, which is why she is awake to see the sunrise, which is very pretty. She is thinking she would like to steam the pink flowered wallpaper off the walls in the bedroom and paint, someday, soon, after she went rock hunting.

On this board it's called "Name that Cab", and it gets posted in the competition section and the cab is given to the person whose name gets the most votes. Check it out, KD has a contest running right now.

Volcano was the first thing that came to mind here as well.

Sorry to butt in on another thread, I didn't intend to. As these cabs are generally very special to me, I am unwilling to let anyone pry them from my cold dead hand (or whatever the saying was). My intention is to inspire people to look for the unusual patterns when they create cabs and cut the cabs accordingly. Is it OK to continue posting them? Bob

KEEP POSTIN' PICS BOB!
We've had a lot of similar threads in the past - rocks with faces in them, rocks with pics in them, etc. Unfortunately, the pics are no longer available in one of the best, which included Bear Creek Lapidary's many cabs with pics in them.

I will stick with what I said long ago Bob.........that is a spewing volcano with either a squirrel running up or a bunny hopping down the side.

Yes, please keep posting! Either here or in Member Photographs, I would guess. If you ever want to hold a contest... ;D You could ask what we see in the cab, but offer something else as a prize. But just seeing your work is a prize! Please keep posting these interesting picture cabs! Amy

I saw solar flares first, then a fuzzy little primate leaping down to a surface to join its buddy (kind of like the flaming bunny opinion).

Here is the other side of the cab. To me the image is rather evident. Bob

I see a huge pile of leaves with the wind blowing bits of leaves in the air and a dog laying beside it; one with large pointy ears side one. Side two; volcano Other cab I am seeing a paw print; early morning frost with the snow starting to accumulate.
