Okay folks, here's my last offering of the year. Same rules as always, one name, if you change it, start a new post. Naming will remain open until Christmas Eve at 9:00pm, PST. This is a nice fire agate and I'm sure it will conjure up some imaginative names.

It looks like someone (a little white someone) has lost their head in the centre
So I'll name this one... "lost my head in the fire!"

It reminds me of what caramel looks like when you're cooking it (for caramel corn, etc). So in the spirit of the holidays I will name it after one of my favorite cheesecake flavors:
"Dulce de Leche" (candy of milk in Spanish). Pronounced: dual-say day laychay

It reminds me of one of my favorite bits of Norse mythology involving the end of the world and its rebirth.
According to the myth, the final destruction of the world comes at the hands of fire giants, which set fire to the sacred world tree Yggdrasil. The fire giants mount an attack on the gods and kill most of them. The fire giants also die during this war, except for a man and a woman placed by Odin in a sacred forest that would not burn down .
I call it "Fires of Ragnarök".

The little bubbles remind me of the smoke and flames that a pilot might see while flying over a forest fire so Im going to call it "earth ablaze"
