Hey all, we made it to Jamie's. Sands, catmandew, snowdog, rocklicker, skipper and of course, me. The rock hounding is great, and we haven't left Jamie's house.

ohhhh I've seen pictures of Jamie's yard...I would be happy never leaving their yard....  hope you guys are having a blast - and everyone's back is just a little sore! (no no no - not trying to be mean - that just means to me that everyone is finding and carrying a lot of rock! ) |

Cool yer jets, there! The place is like, a campground! No cell service let alone internet!
We are the only ones that I know of staying in a motel and it's a 60 mile drive and we were finishing dinner at 10 so not enough energy to download the photos let alone post!
But we do have a bunch of group photos and as soon as we have a spare minute, we will. A couple people leaving earlier may beat me to it.
We have seen fields and fields of agate. We have carted truckloads of it out of the fields and if you went there tomorrow, you wouldn't notice anybody had been picking up the rocks.
Far as I know everyone expected has made it here. It's awesome. I'm just too beat to write any more, sorry.

Dont you worry about anything other than making a dent in that field and having a blast. You guys will have plenty of time to post photos when you get back.

Hi All, We want pics - pics, pics pics pics. (Well greedy me wants pics). PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think you lucky travellers need some advice. TAKE YOUR CAMERA DRIVER DISKS WITH YOU AND YOUR USB CABLES NEXT TIME in the hope theres a pc nearby.  Cos all us "left behinders" need a FIX!!!!!! BIG TIME!!! Well, stoner, skipper, and I left Monday at noon. Just after rocklicker. The remaining groups is smaller but good for a few more days.
There were several group photos around the sign for the campground, so pics will get up at some point.
Something about dinnert ime seemed to turn snowdog into (an even bigger than usual) rock Santa. I did nto get through a meal w/o having some rock or slab put into my hands or set next to my plate. Thanks Dave!

I am so jealous but if all goes well here, I'm hoping to get to meet up with a few in late January, early February. It is my mother's wish after her chemo that I take her to AZ down near Phoenix where my sister stays for the winter. So please, leave a little rock there for me ok.
