Well.... I know you've all must of been just wonderin where roxy has been huh lol.. And let me be the first to tell you.. I did miss you guys.. So that is why on the advice of another I decided to go ahead and post this .. just for you.. ;D .. it really was a labor of Need, sweat and Rock and Roll.. After 72 hours of pure Madness and chaos with hammers and drills and saws and tools I never knew existed.. Not to mention the 6 Dart Games (5 of which I skunked them) 2 sleepless nights, 3 slivers , 1 blister, 4 broken nails and, 1 rock hunt it's not completely finished.. but enough to show you guys.. Here we go.... This was right after we began to clear the one side.. I don't even want to show you how scary that was.. so here's the start of one side.. And this was the clearing.. the wall was semi normal.. couldn't bring myself to show you the million little holes I umm accidentally put in the wall looking for a stupid stud.. thing.. This is after Jamie finally took control of the Drill..... Till I got the hang of it.. I got to take pictures.. lol Oh yeah during most of the time we were sharpening our carpenter skills.. Rodney was kind enough to turn my set of wheels into a running mega cab beast! And that's a whole story of it's own.. thanks Stonesthatrock for a killer deal on that one! ;D Oh and Sheri too for her donated set too! you rock! And this is that same corner as of now.. still needs another shelf and some other stuff but it's the greatest place for me to be ! Thanks girl for your Help and Many Skills! ( I dubbed her the tool belt diva) lol Here is the new playing space for my set of wheels .. I can't wait to get back there! And here's the new spot for my Rugged and Rough Super mega Saw.. And that shelf I built all by myself. ;D that's why there's not alot on it.. I'm scared of it coming down .. lol.. Oh the pile of my slabs is growing!!! Hope you enjoyed this as much as I did .. Thank you Jamie and Rodney for all your help..

Very cool! Really like the long work benches and organized look. Nothing like your own little rockshop. That was really nice of Jamie to help you out too. Look forward to the cabs and slabs you work on that monster of a cabbing machine.

Super cool shop Roxy! Lots of room to work and a good looking setup. Now all you have to do is keep it clean and organized, something I really suck at *L*. Oh, and they do make electric stud finders ya know *W* Saves ya having all the holes in the wall....mel

Thanks Guys! ;D I must say it was fun... Oh and now I need someplace to put all my rocks.. lol.. I too like the long bench look too ... I can't wait to start playing on that cab machine.. it's a bit intimidating to be honest.. But The Super Sonic Rock Saw has become like second nature, ;D mel.. after leaving me to my own devices .... I was thinking finding studs should be easy.. afterall (it comes naturally) LOL.. But I was wrong... I'm so stiff and sore it's unreal.. and even to type is a chore after the past days of death grippin the hand saw and the drills and whatnots.. Still, I will however promise to make it back to show my progress with cab machine ...but as of right now.. I'm in serious self pampering mode, till I recover and my blisters go away completly lol.. Thanks again everyone, ;D

That's an awesome looking space!!! I'm really anxious to get a space like that all set up in my basement. I know how hard it is when you're "borrowing" space to work.

;D Thanks guys... ;D I don't know what I'm doing. . I'm thinking I'm stalling on purpose with the cab machine huh.... that thing is scary I don't want to ruin my rocks.. LOL.. But I'll get out there....just needed a little encouragement from you guys and I got it.. so .. I will .. I will .. promise.. ;D lol southfork.. now there's an idea.. not sure if I could pull something like that off.. but it sure would be a sight to see, since I have no clue when it comes to tools...I'm thinking it would go more along the lines of Tool time the comedy hour rather than tool diva with sex appeal.. lol.. scary... anyways..... thanks again for your comments and for the little push I needed to get out there and start up them wheels.. You guys Rock.. ;D Here I go again..

Hey Roxy..we had talked in another string, about how we like ravens..here is one of my favorite raven moments..a Bald Eagle had landed in my yard on my favortie tree..well that is my raven pair's home base, it is their tree..and they told Mr Bald Eagle it was time to move on..look at the size difference..you know how big ravens are.... well this morning I had my first Mountain Lion sighting..very thrilling...and while I was watching the cat in my yard..the ravens flew over and landed in a tree 10 feet above it..caw-ing to let the deer and turkeys know..DANGER DANGER....PRETTY COOL..I had to share these...this cat photo was taken less than one hour ago...

OH wow! Look at those two sitting together ... wonder what they are talking about... lol. don't hardly ever see that sorta thing happen.. good thing you caught it on film.. and the wild mountain lion.. can't believe he let you take his picture.. Lol.. I see he noticed he was getting looked at but didn't run.. lol I dig the pics thank you very much.. I have a story to tell you about the raven . I believe they are special because they do Warn of Danger to come.. not only to animals but people too... well.... this is what I was taught.. and I've always believe it to be so.. Here's a perfect example why.. I pull up to Jamies .. with my trailor attached to my truck.. it's early like 9 am or something.. We are getting ready to go out for a major rock hunt need the trailor to pull her Quad.. anyways I get there sit in a my truck still trying ot get the kinks out of my neck.. and I step outside the truck go to the trailor cuz I know I didn't get it on right it kept coming off .. I'm standing there and all of a sudden two.. crows fly over my head sit on a pole behind me and start to squawk.. I turn around and I said "Oh no.. not todaymy friends say it isn't so.." they sat there in silence as I walked up to Jamies door.. she came out and I started to get the sick feeling of something bad is about to happen.... Anyways Not sure now If I was ready yet to just go.. and not sure how to tell jamie I was unsure of the trip now.. just didn't feel right... anyways.. I'm in full caution mode as of then .. trying ot make sure I thought of everything.. I noticed my tire looked low.. so I asked her she said we'd put air in it and be alright.. Ok the trailor still needed attention to be on right.. Uh..finally Rodney was Dragged outside to make sure everything was looking and working in order .. (thanks Rodney) As she drove the quad up on the trailor who should be standing by that stupid contraption was me.. I didn't even see her drive on.. but noticed that hitch raising pretty fast towards my face.. So I jumped on it..(with my cat like reflexes) and it leveled out soon as she was all the way on.. lol.. Ok Rodney checks my tire.. finds out it's not only low.. it's flat. only 9 lbs in the tire.. uh huh And the front was low too.. that means they could of both blown and it would of been a long long long walk home.. So he decided to find if it's a slow leak somewhere and finds out there's a SCREW inside my tire.. and to make a long story short.. He not only fixed my tire AND fixed the trailor from slippin.. I'm thinking He saved our lives.. ever blow a tire carring a trailor? Not pretty .. I had a cousin do it and flipped his truck.. and the trailor...And to make things more uneasy I had no spare.. it was already on my truck.. from the last blow out on Grand ave.. So.... I'm thinking .. Good thing I listened to the warning....... or us girls would of just aired it up and headed out as is.. and ya never know what could of happened .. and I'm just glad I didn't have to find out the hard way... I did manage to leave out the hour of pure madness that went into fixing both tire and trailor hitch and lights ect.. LOL..But that you would of just had to been there to believe it.. LOL.. Ok story over..that's why I like them.. it's not if you just see them.. You'll know.. when they set out to get your attention.. well that's what I think .. I know I know, but if it sounds weird.. oh well.. so does getting up at 8 oclock in the Morning to go hunt rocks LOL.. Anyways..thanks for the pics I like them!
*smiles*
