I agree. The dark sky over tan dunes is better than the regular stuff.

Nice piece of Bruneau! I have a piece of black bruneau that is just under 5 lbs, I have it in the display cabinet because I haven't gotten up the nerve to cut it yet. It has matrix on all sides, but it has a window that shows black bruneau, just gotta decide which way to cut it.

KD - gulp...yes, it was really expensive. I'm so ashamed I can't bear to say how much.
Tony - I had heard about black bruneau a while back then one day I saw a cab and I was knocked out. I feel real fortunate to have gotten this little hunk. YOU...my friend...are one lucky guy to have a 5 lb hunk! I would love to see a pic if you have one!! PLEASE?

YOU...my friend...are one lucky guy to have a 5 lb hunk! I would love to see a pic if you have one!! PLEASE? Ok here is a pic of the piece and 2 black bruneau cabs, I am playing with a new camera, so I hope these are ok. I put a quarter in there for a size comparison, this is in my display cabinet. Here are 2 black bruneau cabs, I didn't do these. When we sold those 10 boxes of bruneau, Mary put 6 nice chunks of black bruneau in some of the boxes, she just picked random boxes to put them in, so there should be some more around here somewhere. She gave me those 2 cabs and that piece of rough. Tony

Tony - You got a real nice hunk there! And the cabs are beauts! I didn't know until yesterday that there is also a green bruneau. Now I'm in big trouble...crap.

I have a chunk of green bruneau from Tony. It's the evil chunk that dented my saw blade, so I can't even see what's inside it! Here ya go, Liz: The redish brown's a little hot in the picture, but the green is to color. The majority of the hunk is green, with the red petering out there on the end.
