Hi all, please take a look around things have changed a bit - not massively but in-line I think with what people were asking for. I would like people to give me more topics for boards within the new category of "More Rock Topics and Hobbies", currently I have placed the cabs, wire wraps and a new board of home made equipment there. I am thinking of jewelry specifics, beads, facets etc - and specifically for examples of more jewelry made from tumbled rocks. Also on my mind is how to introduce a sawing section - how to word it etc as I can see many many posts regarding this. Ok - what dya want and I'll try and implement it. Also - comments on the new structure of course are appreciated. good or bad Cheers Mark

I like the new structure. For the moment we have to search a bit to find the desired sections, but I'm sure we will get used to it in no time. WTG, Mark!
A polished slabs section would be great, either separate or together with the sawing section that you have in mind - it could be named "rock slabs - rough and polished" or such.
Thank you,
Adrian

Mark - you have made a great board even better! Very organized from what I see. I think a sawing section is probably a good idea but sit back and take a break for a while. You had to put a lot of work in to create this.
Dave.

Holy CRAP, I don't log in for a couple of days and BLAMO, everything changes behind my back! Seriously though Mark, I haven't poked around too much yet but so far things are looking pretty good. It will of course take some time to get used to the new layout but in the end I think this is one step closer to where we all want to be, keeping RTH well "orgamanized". ;D Good stuff Mark, thanks for continuing to care about your creation and taking the time to tweak & maintain it as needed for all of us to continue to enjoy. Rob

I like the board. I also agree that maybe a slab section would be good. Keith

Pretty soon the vibes won’t wanna be seen with the rotaries and they’ll want separate sections too.
And there’s no way WF slabs should be hangin’ out with real slab saw slabs . . . two more sections.
Split the rocks up too . . . American stuff and Foreign stuff. They don’t seem to tumble well together nowadays.

I like the board.... has all I need... but then I just play with the tumblers and a bit of wire wrapping. A slab section would be cool...hmm..... that's all i can think of....

Great work, Mark! Thank you!! I too would like to see more jewelry techniques. Casting, lost wax, etc. Soldering, building, designing, etc. And other creative uses of rocks... tumbled or cabbed. T

Nice work Mark. It's nice to see a section dedicated to tumbling because I always felt it was the reason the board is here. It's like gettin back to our roots. Guess this means I need to get a load of rocks going. Steve
