These are my very first cabs, still need some final tweaking and then talk to Ed about polishing... Critiques welcome! Shown wet so you can see the colors... ::)S WWR Plume plagued with Druzy pockets. Very high dome! I call it the Meatloaf cab. Montana Agate - I was working on another one. Wonder what happened to it... Round Mountain Agate WWR Biscuit Mexican Agate from Mel Ed told me not to do any soft stones yet. Did I listen? HA! WWR Agate, I love the translucent ones! Priday Thunderegg, this will look like a night time mountain scene when polished. Prudent Man agate pair, will be wrapped as earrings.

The Monatna looks very nice. Is there really a yeallow sunset over orange hills, or is that result of photography? The scene looks great. Always like to see Prodent Man, nice pair.

Daniel, I think the yellow sun is the head of the nail showing through the very transparent cab...

Those are coming out great. looks like you got a good dome and getting some nice shapes. That soft one looks like one of Jamie's rocks; don't blame ya; very hard to resist.

They all look great Susan. You chose some nice material to start off with, even the chrysocolla looks great. I'm here anytime you want to talk.

Really nice Susan! You're off to an awesome start. I'm with the rest and love that Prudent Man pair but the meatloaf cab is ultra cool too. I sometimes cut those out of Woodward biscuits by taking the heal and grinding down through the junk to the good stuff...Mel

I don't care if it's a nail or reflection that montana is my favorite - the chrysocolla is beautiful and the prudent man earrings are fabulous
If you hadn't said anything about them being the first... I wouldn'ta known
PS: why is it called meatloaf cab???

Man, you took to cabbing real well! Nice work! I like the meatloaf cab a lot. I like how the dop "nail" shines through the Montana agate cab. Sure it's comin off, but nice to see it like that. Nice work. Steve

Welcome to the Cabber's club. Very nice material! I couldn't pick a favorite, well maybe three favorites - the WWR Plume, the Montana, and the first Laguna
