that's just crazy!!!! a good crazy though. i would love to accomplish something like that. first i need a boulder of jade to start!!!! did you get that from jade cove? ? I found this 6 years ago scuba diving in about 30 foot of water at Jade Cove California. To find the real large ones scuba is a must. I used a MK wetstone grinder with diamond flex pads. It's the only way to safely do a large stone like this. Keep us updated if you try it! Believe me I appreciate the nice replies, it's funny how many people think I am nuts for doing this.

I find your work inspirational. I have a 50 lbs piece of rose quartz that I just couldn't bring myself to break up. I know now what to do. I have a diamond saw and cup for my 4-1/2 angle grinder so that'll do for roughing out. I'll figure out polishing when I get through with that. Yea I keep going back to your photos and stare with admiration.
